Fall Tour

NCDBS Northern California Dodge Brothers and Sisters is a group of people who love and own vintage Dodge Brothers and Graham Brothers vehicles. Our group is located in Northern California. We promote Dodge Brothers vehicles and Grahman Brothers trucks in our everday life.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! The next OFFICIAL event for the NCDBS Group will be the annual 2008 Annual Planning and Kickoff Meeting and Picnic. It will be held on March 30, 2008 at the Amador Valley Community Park in Pleasanton. The Park is at the corner of Santa Rita Road at Black Avenue. The NCDBS Group meets in the south-east corner of the park behind the swim center. Contact Tom Barham at (925) 934-7218 or email at dbbros@AOL.com. If any of you have the chance, a number of the NCDBS group will be attending the Turlock Swap Meet at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds on January 26 and 27th. You can come by the space reserved by Buzz Horn and Gil Belcher and see a lot of the NCDBS group members and talk some Dodge. We usually have our photo-op at about 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon of the 26th. We hope to see you there!

The Galt "OLD CAR FESTIVAL" was held on Sept. 23, 2007. The NCDBS Group was well represented with 10 cars on the grounds. On hand were Gwen and Larry Cooper, Barbara and Herman Boone, Sherrin and Donn Marinovich, Sharon and Tom Barham, Julia Fischer and Travis Barham, Don and Pat Bell, Dave Wolstad and Roger Gong. There were many inquiries regarding the Northern California Dodge Brothers and Sisters group, due mainly to our Banner which was on prominent display. Three new members joined the NCDBS Group during the few hours of display. They were (1) Jim Von Dohlen of Modesto with a 1915 Touring car (2) Dr. Jack Gilliland of Acamp with a 1926 sedan and (3) Bill Agusto of Stockton with a 1922 Screen side. All expressed interest due to our proximity to their home base locations. There will be additional information on the Galt Old Car Festival posted on the "Meets" section of this WEBSITE when the pictures are downloaded.

TThe dedication of the Dodge Brothers plaque was completed over the Labor Day weekend of 2007. Gerry Egland gave an outstanding and memorable speech during the dedication ceremony. It was a wonderful event and the two-sided plaque provides a brief history of the Hamtramck property where at its peak, employment was between 20 to 30,000 Dodge Brothers employees working at this facility to produce our beloved vehicles. By the way, this was a very big deal for the city of Hamtramck. The mayor, the state historian, a state senator were just a few of the people in attendance. This august group thought that this dedication was long overdue and that they were more than pleased that the Dodge Brothers Club would accomplish such an undertaking. Following the dedication a group of about 12 DB's paraded through the streets of Hamtramck in support of the dedication. Gerry Egland making his presentation at the Hamtramck DB Plaque dedication. The newsletter will appear on this WEBSITE 45 to 60 days after distribution to allow those who have contributed to the mailing fund, sufficient time to read and enjoy the contents before it gets electronically distributed.

The - next event for the Northern California Dodge Brothers and Sisters group will be our participation in the Sonora Christmas Parade.
