NCDBS Lazy River Tour 2007
The Down the Lazy River Tour 2007 was completed the weekend of April 28 and 29. In attendance was Gerry and Donna Egland, Dave and PennyPat Johnson, Donn Marinovich and Sherrin Grout, Ray and Lilnda Kwappenberg, Amil and Sharon Gehrke, Larry and Gwen Cooper, Buzz and Sue Horn, Lou McMillan, John and Felicia Juntunen, Herman and Barbara Boone, Dave and Florence Wollam, Bob and Carol Wolstad, Knute and Maryjoan Kleinen, Gene Baker, Travis Barham, Julia Fischer, Tom and Elaine Gong, Dave Wolstad, Bill Clements, Marie Woelflen and Lynne Gong (if anyone was left out, please email me and all errata will be corrected ASAP). On the first day, the vehicles traveled along the Sacramento River and backroads to Woodland to the Hays Truck & Heidrick Ag Museum. The group proceeded to the Rieffs gas station museum and spent quite a bit of time on this eclectic collection of memorbilia. On Day 2, the group toured along the river levee roads, farmlands and pastoral settings to our destination of the Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. This sugar mill has been converted into a private crushing business for several of the new vineyards in this area. This building existed in tact in Utah and the steel infrastructure was moved to its present site and brick was used to re-create the original mill. After a tour of the area by one of the co-founders of this establishment (John Carvalho) we all retired outside of the building and ate a soup and sandwich lunch on the running boards of the cars. All in all it apears that the Northern California Dodge Brothers and Sisters group had a wonderful experience and weekend. Below you will find some of the digipix's taken during the Down the Lazy River Tour during the weekend of April 28 and 29, 2007.

Richard (Buzz) Horn, a charter member of the DBC, had his standard trim Victory 1929 roadster on this tour. Here it sits aside a 1935 4-door sedan at the road stop during the first day of touring.
